A Community Outreach job involves acting as a liaison between organization and the public to promote services we offer and educate the community on those services we offer. Responsibilities include attending community events, deliver presentation to educate the public, informational sessions and maintaining relationships. Key skills needed are strong communication, interpersonal abilities, and creativity.

Experience:

Previous experience in outreach, public health, or customer service is preferred

Skills:

Exceptional communication, networking, project management, and public speaking abilities.

Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if an event is scheduled for those times. Advanced notice will be given. Duties will include Facilitate potential clients through community education. Educate the community through neighborhoods, daycares, and other health related facilities. Responsible for following a comprehensive communication program that will enhance the agency's image and position within the general public. Facilitate internal and external communications. Must have creative ideas for the design, production and distribution of all agency publications. Employee will be the agency's representative with the general public and other facilities
