How This Role Makes a Difference The National Community Clinical Research Educator II promotes awareness and education of clinical research and access to clinical trials in diverse communities. This local role supports Future of Medicine events, participant education, informed consent conversations, and community engagement activities. This role may or may not be attached to a Care Access site. How You'll Make An Impact Educate community members, potential participants, caregivers, and local partners about the Future of Medicine Program, clinical research, and Care Access research opportunities using approved materials. Help interested individuals understand next steps, answer general non-clinical questions, and obtain consent or authorization from participants when delegated that responsibility. Support education sessions, community events, community meetings, and partner outreach tied to the local Care Access research site or partner sites. Document education activity, participant questions, referrals, follow-up needs, and community feedback in approved systems. Collaborate with internal teams to execute community engagement and clinical research education activities. Support transitions for participants interested in clinical trials. Interact professionally with participants, sponsor representatives, investigators, and Care Access personnel. The Expertise Required Self-motivated and passionate about clinical trials and healthcare; strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability in networking, partnership building, and event organization. Proficiency using modern technology for communication and data management. Strong understanding of participant confidentiality and ethical considerations in clinical research. Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. Multilingual ability is a plus.
