A great position for a bi-vocational pastor, clergy, or minister. The worksite location is the US FCI Milan, 4000 East Arkona Rd., Milan, MI 48160. Develop lesson plans using the program curriculum for a diverse group of religions. Assist Program Manager in developing program components, assessing participants, recording participant progress, bringing in speakers, and leading group activities. Maintain and distribute weekly schedule of activities. Present and lead study groups and education classes. Assist the Chaplain/Program Manager in the coordination of a diverse group of religious faith volunteers and mentors.

REQUIREMENTS

Must possess, at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in religious studies, religious education, human relations, public administration, criminal justice, criminology, or a related curriculum. Must be a member in good standing with your religious community and have a minimum of three years' experience as pastor or spiritual leader. Must possess an ordination certificate (Ministry, Clergy, Pastor), or like credential. Must have lived in the U.S. for three of the last five years. Must submit a resume.

Also required:

Copy of Education transcripts, Ordination, Letter of Minister in good standing, Letter of endorsement from your religious organization, two personal references. Documented experience teaching spiritual principles to followers of diverse religions, teaching within a reentry program, and teaching in a correctional setting are preferred.

This is a part-time position. The candidate should live in or around Milan Michigan.
