Job Description

Multigenerational Ministries Coordinator (MGMC ) St. Luke Lutheran Church, Albuquerque, NM.
Status:
0.75 fte Pay range: TBD based on experience The Multigenerational Ministries Coordinator (MGMC) supports and enhances St. Luke Lutheran Church in carrying out its mission of being "Rooted in God's Word, Serving in God's World" and it's vision of being "an inviting and thriving multigenerational Congregation and Preschool".
The Coordinator will:
  • Lead ministry development and coordinate ministries between and among all ages and generations
  • Help staff, committees, and ministry leaders nurture and form faith, spiritual growth, and relationships of congregants along the multigenerational/age spectrum, from earliest childhood to the elder community
  • Work with the Pastor to foster connections within the church and the wider community
  • Coordinate existing and new opportunities, events and ministries among all ages in the congregation and the wider community, to link them together in relationship with God and with each other
  • Enhance the current youth and young family focus in supporting this cohort of St. Luke members as one way to grow this segment of our congregation and to foster intergenerational ministry.
  • Previous ministry experience with all ages and integration of older and younger church members.
  • Familiarity with the dynamics of a Christian Preschool
  • Certification in or evidence of continuous education in the fields of Christian Education, Family Ministry, or related fields.
  • Training and experience in established Christian Education curricula and products, or similar.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
