This vital role involves nurturing the spiritual growth of children, fostering a welcoming environment, and engaging families in our community. As Children's Director, you will coordinate educational activities, oversee volunteer teams, and develop programs that inspire faith, hope, and love among children of all ages. Duties Develop and implement engaging religious education curricula tailored for children across various age groups Lead and coordinate weekly children's church services, Sunday school classes, and special holiday programs Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to support children's ministry activities and ensure a safe environment Foster strong relationships with children and their families through mentoring, counseling, and regular communication Plan and organize community outreach events, youth engagement activities, and mission projects that promote faith-based service Ensure compliance with safety protocols, background checks, and child protection policies in all activities Collaborate with pastoral staff to integrate children's programs with overall church mission and community engagement efforts Requirements Proven experience working with children in religious or educational settings; experience in youth ministry or teaching religious studies is highly desirable Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate volunteers and staff effectively Excellent communication skills to connect with children, parents, volunteers, and community members Knowledge of pastoral theology, Christian counseling, and social work principles related to youth development Ability to plan events, organize programs, and manage multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated experience in nonprofit faith-based organizations or religious organizations' childcare programs Passion for mentoring youth through faith-based initiatives and community service activities Familiarity with fundraising efforts related to youth programs or church outreach initiatives Join us in shaping the next generation of faithful leaders!
