We are seeking driven, energetic Admissions Counselors with strong communication, recruiting, and customer service skills to join our team. Role Overview Admissions Counselors play a crucial role in helping prospective students discover their educational paths. By assessing students' skills and interests, you will guide them through the enrollment process, acting as both an advisor and a motivator. This role requires creativity, excellent interpersonal communication, and public speaking ability, as well as proficiency in customer service, and using technology. Ideal candidates should have experience in retail management, Insurance, or recruitment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time position requires working some nights and Saturdays to accommodate prospective students' schedules. Key Responsibilities
- A significant part of the day involves reaching out to inquiring students via phone, providing valuable information and personalized guidance to facilitate their enrollment. Comfort with making calls and building rapport is essential.
Ignite Passion:
Engage in dynamic conversations that uncover students' skills, assess their interests, dreams and educational/career goals.
- Guide students through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, maintaining regular communication and providing excellent customer service.
Advising:
Utilize effective decision-making skills to recommend program options that align with students' career aspirations, while effectively promoting the value of Keiser University's programs.
Deliver Informative Presentations:
Present engaging information sessions to groups of prospective students and their families.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to achieve campus goals and contribute to the overall success of the university.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the student information system.
- Adapt to fast-changing environments and be flexible with work schedules as needed.
