Job Duties Responsibility / Duty Regional Territory Management and Recruitment, 45%
Manage an assigned regional recruitment territory, emphasizing strategic out-of-state enrollment growth.
Support university recruitment efforts in targeted markets that may include East Texas, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, South Alabama, the Florida Panhandle, and other markets identified through the Strategic Enrollment Plan.
Develop, execute, and manage a data-informed recruitment plan for the assigned territory, identifying high-potential schools, communities, organizations, and recruitment events.
Represent Nicholls at college fairs, high school visits, community college events, regional recruitment programs, and other enrollment activities.
Build year-round relationships with school counselors, college advisors, students, families, alumni, community organizations, and other regional partners.
Identify emerging markets and recruitment opportunities using enrollment trends, inquiry data, application data, demographic information, and previous recruitment results.
Develop strategies for increasing awareness of Nicholls in markets where the university has historically had limited visibility.
Work independently while traveling within the assigned territory and maintain consistent communication with the Director of Admissions and Admissions team.
Coordinate travel schedules, fair registrations, school visits, regional events, and recruitment expenses within established university guidelines. Percentage Of Time 45
Responsibility / Duty Transfer Recruitment and Pipeline Development, 25%
Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive recruitment strategy for prospective transfer students.
Establish and maintain relationships with community colleges, technical colleges, and other institutions that represent potential transfer pipelines for Nicholls.
Conduct regular visits to community colleges and participate in transfer fairs, advising events, classroom visits, college events, and other recruitment opportunities.
Develop relationships with community college advisors, faculty, administrators, and student organizations to increase awareness of transfer opportunities at Nicholls.
Identify high-potential institutions and programs for targeted transfer recruitment based on enrollment data, academic alignment, geography, and student mobility patterns.
Work collaboratively with academic departments and enrollment partners to communicate transfer pathways, articulation opportunities, degree options, and career outcomes.
Assist prospective transfer students in understanding admissions requirements, enrollment deadlines, transfer credit processes, financial aid, scholarships, and next steps.
Develop and manage targeted strategies to reengage students with existing college credit who have discontinued their enrollment or are exploring opportunities to continue their education at another institution.
Coordinate transfer-focused recruitment events, information sessions, virtual programs, and campus visit opportunities.
Monitor transfer inquiry, application, admission, and enrollment trends, and recommend strategies to improve transfer conversion. Percentage Of Time 25
Responsibility / Duty Prospective Student Counseling and Yield Management, 20%
Provide personalized enrollment counseling to prospective students and families throughout the recruitment and enrollment process.
Develop relationships with inquiries, prospects, applicants, admitted students, and deposited or oriented students to encourage progression through the enrollment funnel.
Conduct individual appointments, phone calls, virtual meetings, presentations, campus visits, and other recruitment interactions.
Assist students with understanding admissions requirements, application procedures, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, housing, orientation, academic programs, campus resources, and enrollment deadlines.
Identify barriers preventing admitted students from enrolling and work collaboratively with appropriate university offices to help students resolve them.
Implement targeted yield strategies for transfer students and students within assigned regional markets.
Conduct appropriate follow-up with students who have incomplete applications, missing enrollment requirements, or other outstanding steps.
Provide responsive, professional, and student-centered communication to students and families. Percentage Of Time 20
