Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions, the Dual Enrollment Program Manager & Counselor ( DEPMC ) develops and implements outreach, recruitment, and student success programming for prospective and incoming students. This role serves as a primary point of contact for Mississippi Valley State University's Office of Admissions and Dual Enrollment initiatives, working closely with local school districts, families, and campus partners to support college readiness, transition, and retention. The DEPMC leads workshops, coordinates programming, and provides advising and guidance to students navigating the admissions and enrollment process. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver outreach programming to promote college readiness, admissions requirements, and dual enrollment opportunities. Build and maintain partnerships with local school districts, counselors, and community organizations. Advise prospective students and families on MVSU admissions requirements and processes. Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, workshops, school visits, and campus programs. Design and facilitate transition and yield programming, including summer bridge and orientation-related efforts. Provide individualized and group advising to support student transition, retention, and success. Serve as liaison between students, families, and campus departments to connect students with resources. Develop communication strategies, including email, social media, and outreach campaigns. Assist with program evaluation, needs assessment, and continuous improvement efforts.
