Job Description:
The Assistant Director of Enrollment Communications provides outreach of marketing and communication efforts to enroll every incoming class of students. Collaborates with the Director of Admission and Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Strategy, as well as Counselors to execute necessary communications needs and ensure they are built, targeted and delivered effectively to various audiences - students, families, schools, alumni and the greater campus community - to recruit the incoming class. Essential duties include but not limited to are: Technology and Communication Execute and deploy communications effectively. Build and schedule communication outreach in Slate. Conduct quality assurance reviews of all communications. Admission Counseling Manage an assigned non-travel recruitment territory to yield a specific enrollment goal and develop a strategic plan to meet enrollment objectives for the assigned territory or student market. Implement a recruitment plan to develop programs, events, activities and marketing to assist in the recruitment of underrepresented students in assigned region. Encourage, review and follow up on admission applications from students from an assigned territory. Participate in on-campus and off-campus events. Keep up to date on changes in majors, programs and student organizations. Cultivate relationships with alumni and campus partners. Safeguard the confidentiality of student, staff, and University information by exercising discretion in communication and handling of records and other materials. Demonstrates support for community and belonging, as well as participate in maintaining a respectful, positive work environment Perform other relevant duties as assigned, such as special projects, programs, and developmental activities
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree. 3-5 years minimum working experience, preferably in enrollment management, sales, education or communication field. Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office products and other software as assigned Slate CRM experience - Demonstrated knowledge and proven experience with various modes of communication - email, test, SMS, mail, social media Effective verbal and written communication skills; strong public speaking and comfort in front of audiences of all sizes. Strong organizational skills, including planning, documenting and follow-through Successful candidates must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check as required facilitation
