POSITION SUMMARY
The Undergraduate Admissions Counselor is responsible for recruitment and management ofprospective students within an assigned territory, contributing significantly to meeting the overall enrollment goals set for each semester.

The individual will work as part of a team to call, text, and email prospective students/families, welcome visitors, represent theUniversity by traveling to high schools and conferences/events, and ultimately to build relationships with various constituencies, as theydiscern enrolling at Franciscan. The individual will be held accountable to key performance indicators to achieve weekly, monthly, andannual number goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment of approximately 1/6 th of theoverall undergraduate enrollment goal (calls, texts, emails, meetings) Travel regularly to represent Franciscan at college fairs,conferences, high school visitations, etc. Assist with on-campus visit days by interacting with visitors, meeting with students,giving presentations. Promote the Mission of Franciscan University by words and actions, and accurately convey it to prospectivestudents. Maintain regular communications (i.e., phone, email, text) with prospective students/families. Promote submission ofapplication, visitation to campus, completion of the financial aid process, walk through financial aid awards, etc. This is notintended to be an all-inclusive list. Additional duties, expectations and responsibilities may be added or changed as needed to meet theUniversity's needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Must understand, support, and embrace the mission of FranciscanUniversity of Steubenville and possess the following: Technical Skills Slate or other CRMexperience preferred (not required) Microsoft Office Suite experience Exceptional ability to learn and use basics oftechnological systems and software (i.e., Slate, Jenzabar, texting platform, Zoom webinars, etc.) Non-Technical Skills &Competencies Competitive drive for results and achieving goals Engaging conversational skills and strongcustomer service mindset Detail oriented and organized planning skills Comfortability with public speaking Strategicplanning and execution skills Education & Experience Bachelor's degree preferred Salesand/or customer service experience preferred Workplace Factors Must be able to work inperson Must be flexible to occasionally work evening hours and weekend events Must be able to lift and transport 25 lbs.(recruiting materials) Must be able to regularly travel domestically (1-2 times per month) Candidates must submit anonline application, a resume, list of references, and a cover letter that demonstrates their fit for the position based on their experience,accomplishments, and skills as well as their desire to advance the mission of Franciscan University.
