Summary:

We currently have a part-time hourly position for an experienced Homestudy Social Worker. The Homestudy Social Worker conducts homestudies and assessments for relatives and other caregivers. They provide an in-depth assessment of the family's background, experiences, relationships, strengths and weaknesses, and capabilities to fost/adopt a child. This is a part-time, hourly position 10-20 hours per week. This position requires in-person visits to family homes.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in social work or equivalent, ability to communicate well, excellent clinical assessment skills, knowledge of and experience with the foster care/child welfare system, including child mental health and placement/attachment and adoption issues. This position requires excellent writing skills. Must have own car and be willing to travel. Must have flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
