JOB PURPOSE
Assists with the administration of the Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN) CFCC contract by conducting assessments and providing coaching, training, and support for providers and families in the Network. Supports childcare providers in the development and operation of their business including licensing and health and safety requirements, regulations, participation in agency programs, and ongoing professional development.
ASSISTS WITH ADMINISTRATION OF THE FAMILY CHILD CARE HOME EDUCATION NETWORK

CFCC CONTRACT
by conducting assessments and providing coaching, training, and support for providers and families enrolled in the Network. Assists with the development of childcare capacity by recruiting Network providers and maintains a sufficient number of qualified and trained Network providers to support parental choice for enrolled families and fully earn the CFCC contract. Conducts regular site visits and hosts regular meetings to provide coaching, training, and support to Network childcare providers to ensure providers meet education program requirements as outlined in Program Requirements. Works with the Program Director to ensure quality and health and safety standards are met, providing recommendations, as appropriate. Conducts or coordinates annual assessments of each Network provider using the Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale (FCCERS) and maintains Network provider files. Ensures Network providers serve nutritious meals and snacks that are culturally and developmentally appropriate and completes site visit checklist at each site visit to ensure Network requirements are met. Develops and presents and/or works with training consultants to provide training curriculum for Network providers based on findings from assessments. Coordinates with Program Director and Network providers and parents to plan and implement developmentally, linguistically, and culturally appropriate activities for children in order to support and enhance education and family engagement opportunities for parents. Assists with the distribution of the Parent Survey annually, collects and analyzes results to plan and conduct activities to help parents support their child's learning and development and to meet the family's needs, in collaboration with the Program Director. Completes or coordinates child development assessments for enrolled children at specified intervals using the Desired Result Developmental Profile (DRDP) and maintains Network child files. Uses the developmental profiles to plan and conduct developmentally appropriate activities and provider training, in collaboration with the Program Director. Completes or coordinates Child Progress Summary Reports and ensures at least two individual parent conferences are held per year, facilitating as necessary. Coordinates and facilitates all aspects of the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) and advises SNCS on issues related to services for families and children. Collaborates with Family Child Care Home Education Networks throughout Northern Californiaby attending meetings and sharing information and resources. Assists with the completion of the Program Self-Evaluation process annually, as outlined in Funding Terms and Conditions (FT&Cs) and Program Requirements. Participates in the planning of child development libraries to ensure materials are relevant and sufficient for the needs of the local community. Coordinates all aspects of the mobile lending library for Network providers.
SUPPORTS CHILDCARE PROVIDERS IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF THEIR BUSINESS
including licensing and health and safety requirements, regulations, participation in agency programs, and ongoing professional development. Enrolls providers in the subsidized childcare program. Maintains data in the subsidy database (CC4) and subsidy provider files in accordance with FT&Cs and Program Requirements. Assists license-exempt providers with TrustLine registration and administers all aspects of TrustLine for the agency. Collaborates with the Resource and Referral (R&R) Director and Program Director to ensure providers enroll in appropriate agency programs. Assists providers with CareConnect by providing technical assistance related to the submission of forms and electronic attendance. Assesses and targets areas in need of family childcare and identifies potential new providers or those able to expand, in collaboration with the R&R Director and Training Coordinator. Provides education and support to childcare providers to improve the quality of licensed family childcare and license-exempt childcare. Assists with coordination of trauma-informed care training and coaching by ensuring childcare providers receive education in applying training curriculum, and learn strategies for working with children in foster care, in collaboration with the R&R Director and Training Coordinator. Assists with the coordination of California Preventative Health and Safety Trainings, in collaboration with the Training Coordinator. Collaborates with the Marketing Coordinator in the design and production of materials as needed. Maintains and provides community referrals to providers and Network families, in collaboration with the R&R Director and Program Director. Attends CAPPA and R&R Network meetings and others as appropriate. OTHER Completely understands, complies with, and implements programs according to state regulations. Collects and analyzes data for reporting and compliance.
Credential and Education:
Current Child Development Program Director Permit or alternative qualifications as indicated by the Child Development Permit Matrix is preferred. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in Child Development, Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is preferred. Experience Experience in managing a child development or early childhood education program as well as experience in state program administration is preferred. Knowledge of the theory and practice of early childhood development with experience developing curriculum is required. Experience with the Desired Result Developmental Profile (DRDP) and knowledge of the Environmental Rating Scale required. Experience performing case management or related functions preferred. Experience in public speaking and training adults preferred. Experience working for a state-funded and/or a non-profit organization is preferred
