This role involves managing workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing exceptional support to clients and attorneys. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, legal research capabilities, and experience in handling personal injury and workers' compensation law cases. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic legal environment focused on delivering comprehensive case management and client service. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of workers' compensation claims, including initial intake, documentation, and ongoing case tracking Conduct thorough interviews with clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for case development Review medical records, employment documents, and legal files to assess claim validity and prepare case summaries Coordinate with medical providers, insurance carriers, and legal teams to facilitate claim resolution Maintain detailed case files using legal case management systems such as PCLaw and iManage Conduct legal research on workers' compensation law, procedural law, and relevant regulations to support case strategies Draft legal documents, reports, and correspondence with clarity and professionalism Handle confidential information with discretion while ensuring compliance with privacy laws Support litigation processes by reviewing documents, preparing pleadings, and assisting in discovery procedures Utilize research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather pertinent legal information Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, healthcare providers, and internal teams Experience Paralegal experience or prior legal support experience in personal injury or workers' compensation law preferred Demonstrated knowledge of workers' compensation law procedures and regulations Experience managing multiple cases simultaneously with strong organizational skills Proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis and Westlaw Familiarity with legal case management software such as PCLaw and document management systems like iManage Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professionalism in client interactions Knowledge of related areas such as estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, family law, securities law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, general & commercial litigation is a plus If you are a proactive professional committed to delivering exceptional legal support within the workers' compensation field, we encourage you to apply.
