You will be part of a holistic team of professionals creating a safe and affirming environment where differences are leveraged, valued, and celebrated. Under the supervision of the Foster Family and Adoption Program Director, this position provides support services to foster children and resource families. You are an excellent fit for this opportunity if you have: A passion for working with children and families. Skills in completing assessments and comprehensive written reports. Capacity to be flexible as a community-based social worker to meet with clients in their homes. The ability to work collaboratively with resource parents and community partners to meet the needs of foster children. Strengths in being self-directed and working as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A commitment to embody TLC's mission and values. A Master's degree in a social science related field (MSW preferred) or a BA in a related field with experience in the field of child welfare. CA driver's license and capacity to use own vehicle for company travel is required (mileage compensation provided). Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
