Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time contract opportunity in Arvada, CO, seeks a licensed mental health professional with expertise in school social work or counseling to support K-12 students. The role requires a dynamic individual licensed as an LPC/LPCC or
LCSW/MSW
with Colorado Special Services Provider (SSP) certification to provide critical mental health services within a school setting. Responsibilities include assisting with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), delivering counseling and crisis intervention, and managing cases for students across all grade levels. The candidate will collaborate closely with school staff and families to address student behavioral and emotional needs, ensuring compliance with educational and mental health guidelines.
Key qualifications:
Current state licensure as LPC/LPCC or
LCSW/MSW
Colorado Special Services Provider (SSP) credential Experience in school-based counseling or social work Skilled in IEP facilitation, crisis intervention, and case management Strong communication and collaboration skills The position serves K-12 students in a school setting approximately 20 minutes from Denver.
