In this role, you will work with students, families, and school teams to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs that affect learning and school participation. Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group counseling to support students' social and emotional development. Assess student needs and help develop appropriate intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success. Participate in IEP meetings and provide services aligned with students' IEP goals. Support crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and positive behavior strategies. Connect students and families with community resources. Maintain accurate, confidential service records and progress documentation. Help address attendance concerns and other barriers to learning. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work (MSW). Appropriate Colorado credentials for a school social work assignment. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Experience supporting children or adolescents. School-based experience and familiarity with special education and IEPs preferred.
