We provide expert consulting and management services to states across the country, and we are thrilled to be partnering with the State of Colorado to manage the Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) program.
PASRR and Opportunity Overview:
PASRR is a powerful and effective program established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This federally required program assesses all individuals who are seeking admittance to a Medicaid-certified nursing facility, to ensure that individuals with serious mental illness, intellectual, and/or developmental disabilities are placed in the least restrictive setting and receive recommended services to improve their quality of life. We are contracting with Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) across the State of Colorado to administer these PASRR assessments on a flexible, PRN basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to earn extra money, have a flexible schedule, and provide a valuable service to adult citizens in your community.
Position Details and Responsibilities:
This is a PRN, independent contractor position. Assessments can be accepted or declined as your schedule allows. There are no quotas. Contact the facility where the individual is located and schedule a time to meet with the individual to be assessed. Review all supporting documentation and available medical records. Complete and return PASRR assessment to Maximus within 24 hours of accepting the referral. Assessments typically occur at hospitals and nursing facilities but may be at an alternative location on occasion. Assessments will be offered within your community and surrounding communities. There is no office to report to. Compensation is per completed assessment. We are seeking candidates in and around the following counties
Pueblo Grand Junction Boulder Canon City Qualifications and Requirements:
Must reside in the State of Colorado. Master's degree or higher in human services or related field Actively licensed in the State of Colorado to provide mental health services, including LCSWs, LMFTs, and RNs. Two or more years of mental and behavioral health experience with adults. One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Must be conflict of interest free, which includes no current employment with nursing facilities.
