Job Description
Higher Movement is a family-friendly dance studio dedicated to providing quality dance education in a welcoming and supportive environment. We are looking for a warm, outgoing, organized, and relationship-focused individual to join our team as our Family Experience Coordinator. This role is much more than a traditional front desk position — this person helps create the overall experience families have at our studio. What You'll Do Welcome students and families with enthusiasm and positivity Learn student and family names and build relationships Help create a warm and welcoming environment Greet and assist trial families Answer parent questions in person, by phone, and by email Support student retention and family engagement initiatives Assist with registration and scheduling Help maintain an organized and upbeat lobby/front desk area Support studio events, performances, and special activities Work closely with studio leadership to ensure an exceptional client experience We are looking for someone who: Loves working with children and families Is naturally friendly, upbeat, and welcoming Has strong communication and interpersonal skills Is organized and dependable Takes initiative and problem-solves well Can multitask in a fast-paced environment Values kindness, professionalism, and teamwork Is passionate about helping people feel seen, supported, and connected Customer service, hospitality, childcare, dance studio, education, or front desk experience is a plus — but personality and people skills are most important to us.
