Job Description

Social Worker (MA/MSW)- PRN Windmoor Healthcare is a 144-bed freestanding hospital offering acute psychiatric and substance abuse services for adults 18 years and older. The hospital is accessible 24 hours a day for admissions. Treatment programs and specialty services at Windmoor Healthcare include substance abuse, dual diagnosis / rapid stabilization, 24-hour mental health assessment and partial hospitalization. We are currently looking for a Master level Social Worker to join our team. We have Full time and PRN positions available. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following: Responsible for conducting therapeutic services for patients. Provide counseling sessions for families, individuals and groups. Responsible for interviewing and developing the psychosocial history, assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family, developing appropriate treatment objectives and monthly treatment summaries. Act as the patients' and families' primary contact during the patient's stay at the facility, as well as their advocate with the treatment team. Liaisons with outside agencies and individuals for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family.
Job Requirements:
Master's Degree (required) from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or other related fields. One (1) year direct clinical experience specific to family, individual and group therapy preferred. Must be able to communicate with members of the multidisciplinary treatment team, managed care representatives, adults and patient families in a clear and concise manner.
