Myers by providing essential school social work services for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a bilingual (English/Spanish) School Social Worker passionate about supporting K-8 student populations and strengthening connections between families, schools, and the community.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred Strong knowledge of Medicaid billing and student evaluations Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive social work support to K-8 students, providing direct services and interventions as needed Complete Medicaid billing and detailed evaluations to support student success initiatives Serve as a resource and advocate for students and families, connecting them to community services Foster positive relationships among students, parents, teachers, and staff Participate in parent/teacher conferences, with the flexibility to stay until 6:30 PM twice a month Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality according to professional guidelines Help design and implement programs that encourage student well-being and academic growth
