What they do
A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

Job Description
Requirements:
Minimum of one year of social work experience in a Nursing Home or Rehabilitation Center Experience with assessment tools and data entry software. Good computer and organizational skills. High emotional intelligence. Strongly compassionate and empathetic. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Education:
An associate's or bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or the human services field Or Four years of full-time paid experience in social work in a social agency adhering to acceptable standards or an equivalent combination of the foregoing education and experience Required.Pay:
$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearEducation:
