Coordinator, Membership Services-West Boise YMCA Treasure Valley Family YMCA Boise, ID Job Details Full-time $17.80 - $22.25 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off 403(b) Qualifications Confidential information handling Employee relationship building Full Job Description Our West Boise YMCA is seeking a Membership Coordinator to join the team! This position is responsible for creating a friendly, helpful, positive atmosphere for everyone who enters the Y through supervising assigned staff and by managing membership services and engagement activities. Serving over 20,000 active youth, adult, and family members, the West Branch of the Treasure Valley Family YMCA helps members lead a healthier, happier life. Facility amenities and features include six fitness studios, three racquetball courts, full-court basketball gym, youth activity center, climbing wall, 50-meter swimming pool, and training pool.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position at 40 hours weekly with benefits! Schedule requirement is Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Director to ensure department operations are consistent with approved Leading Practices. Supervise staff, including hiring, onboarding, role-modeling, and coaching, scheduling and on-going development. Recruits and manages volunteers as needed per current Volunteer Policies and Guidelines. Engage members to deepen their relationships in the Y cause. Actively participates in team meetings and committees as assigned. Assist Director with staff meetings to keep staff advised and informed of all program offerings, class scheduling, membership changes, policies, etc. Responsible for enrollment of members, payment for all services, membership financial assistance, and member services and engagement activities. Conduct interviews with potential members, as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Excellent human relations skills and an ability to maintain position communication with staff and members. Ability to address and make solid decision in emergency situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including telephone etiquette and computer use. Prior experience of successful supervisor of staff and volunteer preferred. Must have good interpersonal and communications skills and be sensitive, adaptable, professional, and articulate when dealing with others. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
