Qualifications:

Current Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) License required Must hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) with social work endorsement Relevant experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting preferred Strong communication and crisis intervention skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Provide social-emotional support and interventions to students across the district Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address academic and behavioral needs Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and community resources Facilitate group or individual counseling sessions as needed Document progress and maintain confidential records in accordance with district and state policies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
