Y.O.U.'s AmeriCorps program is called Y.O.U.th Serve. Its goals are To increase academic performance, social and emotional development, and gang resilience in youth.

To increase levels of parental engagement in youths' lives and Y.O.U. programming.

To leverage volunteers as a result of our program. Two Roles Y.O.U.th Serve Members support youth by serving in Y.O.U.'s afterschool and summer programs. Y.O.U.th Serve Members will provide youth with crucial academic support and help lead workshops on social and emotional enrichment and life skills. Y.O.U.th Serve Members will also assist the program in building relationships with families, community members and school administration.

Mental Health Leads serves as a vital bridge between Y.O.U.'s clinical expertise and its daily afterschool enrichment. This role is designed for a Bachelor's-level professional seeking to gain high-level experience in social work, community mental health, and program administration. You will support the integration of that social-emotional learning (SEL) and mental health support seamlessly integrated into the Out-of-School Time (OST) environment.
