Job Description

The MetaMedia Program Coordinator is responsible for all Community based Meta Media programming. Including registration-based programs (MSX & After-School), implementation and developing STEAM based workshops, projects, showcases, and special events. The Coordinator will constantly assess program needs based on quarterly parent surveys, staff meetings, and "maker" feedback, ensuring all programs meet our maker mindset and skillsets. The manager is responsible for the delegation of curriculum development and scheduling based on the needs of the population served. Parent programming and family engagement are essential to this role and the Coordinator will work closely with part-time staff members to ensure communication with parents is clear and consistent. This position will work closely across McGaw departments and community partners including: The City of Evanston, Northwestern, and District 65.
Days/Hours:
Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, Some evenings and
Saturdays Experience/Education/Certification Requirements/Requisite Computer Skills:
Assess and iterate on program curriculum after their completion Collaborate with MetaMedia team, McGaw YMCA staff, and NU partners Recruit youth to participate in program Keep youth work organized and stored Organize and showcase youth work both on-line and using other platforms Plan special events with the support of the Meta team
Pay:
$15.50 - $16.00 per hour
