Job Description

Overview Each coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading youth programs, activities, and events designed for boys or girls within the ICNY community. This role is primarily responsible for middle school and high school programs, supporting youth development, leadership, and fostering a safe, inclusive environment rooted in Islamic values Key Responsibilities Develop, plan, and facilitate weekly youth programs, workshops, and events for girls, with a special focus on middle school and high school youth. Mentor youth participants and foster strong, positive relationships. Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and parents to support program needs. High School MSA outreach Coordinate logistics for events, trips, and special activities. Maintain attendance, communication, and program records. Promote Islamic values, leadership, and community engagement among youth. Ensure a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for all participants. Assist with community outreach and recruitment of youth participants. Provide regular updates and reports to the Youth Program Director. Qualifications Experience working with middle and high school youth (teaching, mentoring, coaching, or community programs). Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to plan and lead engaging activities tailored for girls. Knowledge of youth development and community engagement. Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed. A positive role model with strong Islamic character and professionalism
