Each Navigator starts at 15 hours per week with a small caseload (3-5 families) and grows toward a caseload of up to 15 families (and up to 20 hours/week over time). Each Navigator carries their own families, shares outreach responsibilities, and administers program funds for the families they support.

3:30-6:00 PM Monday-Friday, plus one morning or midday shift of your choice (either 9-11:30 AM OR 1-3:30 M-F)

$25.75-$28.25/hour (based on education) Reports to: Director of Operations Works closely with: Family Resource Center team (3 people) + Director of Operations About the Role The Family Navigator is the primary point of contact for families enrolled in the Your Path program. This is a relationship-first role focused on walking alongside families as they set goals, navigate challenges, and access resources. Navigators carry a small, intentional caseload so each family receives meaningful attention and consistent support. In addition to coaching, Navigators maintain outreach to families not yet enrolled and manage key program resources for the families they serve. Because this is a part-time role, coaching time is protected and prioritized . Outreach, fund administration, and administrative work are structured around that core responsibility. Key Responsibilities Coaching (Core of the Role) Carry a caseload of up to 15 families Meet regularly with families following the program's coaching cadence Complete initial assessments within the first 90 days and revisit every 6 months Set goals with families, track progress, and adjust plans as needed Maintain clear, accurate records in the program database Outreach Share responsibility for the Compass outreach roster (split between Navigators) Send short, personal outreach messages to families not yet enrolled Keep communication individualized (not mass messaging) Maintain a "Ready List" of families prepared to enroll when openings arise Fund Administration (for your own families only) Approve and release Opportunity Fund requests Administer matched savings (IDA), including milestone approvals Use judgment to determine whether requests align with family goals Presence & Program Support Be a consistent, trusted presence at drop-off, events, and within the program Participate in team meetings, supervision, and reporting Support seasonal enrollment efforts
