Required License/Registration/Certification Certified Social Worker ( CSW ) Physical Requirements The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 25lbs. Shift Monday - Friday, Days (with flexibility) Job Summary The Social Worker Senior serves as a member of the Pediatrics healthcare team to enhance support for patients, families, providers and staff. The Social Worker role in Pediatrics is critical to ensuring our patients and families have the necessary medical and financial resources available to them and for ensuring all children have access and parental/guardian support to help them thrive. The Social Worker Senior takes the lead role in these referrals to ensure we maintain the appropriate level of documentation, actively work case plans in collaboration with DCBS and other agencies, and respond appropriately to investigate any concerns in a timely fashion. This person will work closely with DCBS on medical neglect and suspected abuse referrals.
