An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Social Worker to support a respected school district in Louisiana. This onsite position is anticipated to run through November 2026, with 35 to 37.5 hours per week, and is currently covering maternity leave. Key Qualifications:

Active Louisiana SSW License/Certification with all necessary endorsements Experience in school-based social work or similar settings strongly preferred Ability to work onsite exclusively, providing in-person support Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Flexibility to adapt within a collaborative team environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group social work services to students in need Assess student social, emotional, and behavioral concerns and recommend interventions Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student well-being and success Facilitate crisis intervention and serve as a liaison to community agencies Keep thorough records and adhere to confidentiality standards and district policies
