Group Leader Out of School Time
5 days per week
Hours:
Part-time.
Summer & School Vacation Weeks:
20+ hours varied weekly.
School year:
Afternoon hours only. 2:30pm - 5:30pm
REPORTS TO
Out of School Time Director/Out of School Time Coordinator
JOB GOAL
Under supervision of the Director or designee, supervise children during playtime, ensuring safety and appropriate interactions.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct Child Care:
- Implement age-appropriate activities and learning centers
- Provide individual attention to children as needed.
- Monitor children for signs of distress or potential hazards.
Classroom Support:
- Prepare materials and set up learning environments for activities.
- Lesson plans and curriculum implementation.
- Facilitate small group activities under the Site Coordinator or Program Coordinator supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Communication and Documentation:
- Observe, document, and communicate concerning behavior to the Site Coordinator, Program Coordinator or Director
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance and daily activities.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all EEC regulations regarding child safety and hygiene practices.
- Participate in emergency drills and procedures.
- Adhere to all reporting requirements regarding child abuse or neglect.
- Performs such other appropriate tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Salary:
$15.50 to $17 Per Hour
