School Social Worker

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and State License

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUAILFICATIONS

Two years' experience in the field of social work Master's Degree, Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred

JOB DUTIES FOR ALL MEMBERS

1.) Provide individual, group, and family support and services. 2.) Provide psychosocial assessment and observation of students. 3.) Act as a referral agent to outside agencies. 4.) Be available as a consultant to staff. 5.) Maintain collateral communication between school and outside agencies. 6.) Provide in-service training to staff as needed. 7.) Act as a home/school liaison. 8.) Provide classroom programs. 9.) Develop goals for IEP's. 10.) Perform other job related duties as required by the Special Education Director.
