Oak Park, MI Onsite - In Person Only Position Summary RCM Health Care Services is seeking a full-time School Social Worker to provide in-person services to elementary school students in the Oak Park, MI area from now until the end of October. This role focuses on supporting students' social-emotional development, conducting assessments, and implementing intervention strategies within a collaborative school setting.IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS!
!! Prefer candidates to have experience developing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) Responsibilities Schedule / Shift Full-time School-year schedule aligned with academic calendar Elementary school setting Immediate start until end ofOctober Key Duties:
Conduct assessments using school records, interviews, and observations to determine student needs Develop and implement FBAs and BIPs Support students with IEPs and social-emotional learning interventions Communicate diagnostic findings and intervention strategies to families, staff, and stakeholders Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop student programs and services Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring Foster relationships between school, home, and communityRequirements Education Required:
Master's degree inSocial Work Licenses & Certifications Required:
Valid Michigan Social Worker License Required:
Approval (or eligibility) as a School Social Worker in Michigan Additional Requirements Experience writing FBAs and BIPs (required) Knowledge of IEP processes and special education services Understanding of child development, learning theory, and social-emotional needs Experience with MTSS and intervention-based practicesSkills:
