Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Michigan School Social Worker certification Possess one of the following Michigan state

Social Worker Licenses:

LMSW, LLMSW, or LCSW Experience preferred in school-based or adolescent social work settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with school teams, students, and families Ability to manage confidential information appropriately Skilled in crisis intervention and developing individualized support plans

Responsibilities:

Provide direct social-emotional support to middle school students, addressing barriers to learning and promoting positive outcomes Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and support personnel to identify and address student needs Conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and monitor progress for students requiring additional support Serve as a resource for staff and families, guiding them through social services and school policies Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise in student welfare and inclusion Support a positive school climate and promote mental health awareness Enjoy the opportunity to make a real difference while benefiting from a competitive compensation range between $45 and $53 per hour.
