Qualifications:

Valid licensure or certification as a School Social Worker or School Psychologist Experience working in K-12 educational settings Understanding of social-emotional and behavioral interventions Strong assessment and counseling skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Familiarity with IEP and eligibility processes preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and report findings for students referred for services Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address students social, emotional, or behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to discuss student progress and offer professional input Support crisis intervention and prevention programs as required Assist with development and implementation of student behavior management strategies Maintain timely, accurate documentation and comply with all district and state regulations This is a rewarding contract position located near Canton, MI, offering the chance to positively impact students educational experiences and outcomes.
