This onsite role is based near Coldwater, MI and spans the academic year from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering a fulfilling 35-hour workweek on a contract basis. Key Qualifications:

Valid Social Worker license in Michigan Background working in school settings or with children and adolescents Strong knowledge of current best practices in school social work Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations, staff, and families Compassion, resourcefulness, and dedication to supporting educational success

Responsibilities:

Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students Conduct assessments, maintain detailed documentation, and develop intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to meet student needs Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and crisis intervention Serve as a resource for students and families, connecting them to appropriate community resources Promote a positive, inclusive school culture through both preventative and responsive services
