Qualifications/Experience Desired:

Active social work credentials for MI (LMSW, LLMSW, or LSW) Prior school-based or pediatric social work experience highly valued Understanding of special education processes and IEP development is a plus Excellent communication and advocacy skills Compassionate and collaborative problem-solver

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct social-emotional support services to students based on individual and group needs Conduct assessments to identify barriers to learning and recommend strategies Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute expertise in IEP development Maintain accurate documentation and report progress as needed Facilitate referrals to community resources and provide crisis intervention when necessary Help promote positive behavioral supports and school climate initiatives This position allows you to bring your dedication and expertise to a school community that values student advocacy and support.
