In this contract role for the upcoming school year, youll work primarily with general education students in individual and group counseling sessions, collaborating closely with teachers and staff to create positive, supportive learning environments. Your work will help empower young people to build resilience, develop coping skills, and thrive academically and personally.

Key Qualifications:

Masters degree required (no bachelors degrees accepted) Active LARA license or proof of appropriate Michigan credential (see detailed list below) Experience with electronic documentation/SOAP notes; comfortable using Google applications Background in counseling or social work within schools highly preferred Acceptable credentials include: Licensed masters level psychologist or social worker (school or clinical) Limited licensed masters level psychologist or social worker under supervision MDE credentialed masters level school psychologist Licensed masters level professional counselor or marriage and family therapist School Counselor License, Michigan Teaching Certificate with School Counselor Endorsement, Preliminary or Temporary School Counselor Credential (with the willingness to fulfill all LARA requirements within 24 months if applicable)
