9624480-48439 Job Description Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Multi-Tier Systems of Support (MTSS) Social Worker/Counselor for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role is based onsite, working across general education environments and collaborating closely with educators and families to drive student success. Youll play a vital role in delivering evidence-based interventions and developing comprehensive support plans for students, enriching both their academic and social-emotional growth.

Key Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling from an accredited institution Current full Michigan licensure (LMSW or LPC); limited licenses (LLMSW/LLPC) considered with a path toward full licensure Previous experience in a public school or related agency setting preferred Strong background collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Comfortable working onsite and managing a diverse K-12 caseload Ability to provide official university transcripts, LARA license, and MDE SW Approval as part of the hiring process

Responsibilities:

Assist staff in selecting and utilizing effective data collection methods Analyze and interpret data to inform intervention strategies and recommendations Lead and implement tiered interventions in consultation with educators Manage cases for students and families requiring coordinated services Participate in MTSS meetings, student support conferences, and collaborative planning sessions Provide direct individual and group interventions to support student well-being Maintain detailed records and documentation of services and encounters Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure consistent support Take the next step in your career and make a positive impact in schools located in Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit.
