Valid 310 Certification (required) Active MI School Social Worker (SSW) License Current MI Educator Certification (all credentials must be activepending applications not considered) Prior experience in school social work and working with elementary-age students preferred Strong interpersonal, assessment, and crisis intervention skills Primary responsibilities: Provide direct social-emotional support to elementary students Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support academic and behavioral growth Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation Lead small group and individual sessions tailored to student needs Contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive school climate This contract, onsite position for the 2026-2027 school year offers competitive weekly pay.
