Job Description
Qualifications:
Master's degree required—no exceptions. Current LARA license in Michigan (in counseling, psychology, social work, or therapy, as appropriate).Acceptable licensure includes:
- Licensed master's level psychologist
- Limited licensed master's level psychologist (with supervision)
- MDE credentialed master's level school psychologist
- Licensed master's level social worker or school social worker
- Limited licensed master's level social worker (with supervision)
- Licensed master's level marriage and family therapist
- Licensed master's level professional counselor or limited license (with supervision)
- Valid School Counselor License, Michigan Teaching Certificate with School Counselor endorsement, Preliminary or Temporary School Counselor credentials (with stipulation of pursuing appropriate counselor licensing within 24 months) Commitment to collaborating with staff, students, and families to foster resilience and positive behaviors.
