You will engage both individuals and groups, helping students navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and thrive in their academic journey. Your expertise will also support staff through collaboration and the implementation of school-based wellness initiatives.
Qualifications:
Master's degree required—no exceptions (bachelor's degrees do not qualify for this role) Active LARA license appropriate for the position (Social Worker, Psychologist, Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in Michigan) Proficiency with SOAP notes, electronic documentation, and Google applications Familiarity and compliance with Michigan educational and licensure standards; willingness to fulfill additional counselor credential requirements if applicable Experience working with adolescents in school settings is highly valued Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to provide counseling to groups and individuals in an educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
