This contract opportunity extends from early November through the end of December 2026, covering a maternity leave for the remainder of the school semester. Youll work a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week, engaging with bright young learners across two elementary schools and making a genuine impact during a pivotal time.

What youll contribute:

Provide social-emotional support and counseling for elementary students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create positive learning climates Conduct individual and small-group interventions to help students navigate challenges Implement and track behavioral plans, offering proactive recommendations Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines Serve as a resource regarding community-based mental health and wellness services Support crisis intervention efforts and promote safety and well-being on campus Ideal background & experience: Licensed social worker (School Social Worker credential highly preferred) Previous school-based social work experience, ideally in an elementary setting Solid understanding of child development and interventions for school-aged students Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Compassionate, adaptable, and collaborative approach Enjoy the rewarding experience of supporting students and families during a critical time of growth and transition.
