This full time position plays a vital role in promoting student academic achievement and cultural well-being by addressing attendance related challenges through proactive identification, early intervention and meaningful family engagement; dedicated to fostering consistent school attendance while honoring values, traditions and unique cultural context of the Hannahville community. Serving as a case manager for students facing attendance issues, this person will collaborate closely with school personnel, tribal departments and local service providers to identify and address barriers affecting student engagement. These may include transportation, housing, health, mental wellness or family dynamics challenges. By adopting a student-centered and culturally responsive approach, this will ensure that all students have equitable access to the resources and support necessary for academic success. Key responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive and confidential records of all student and family interactions, tracking progress and monitoring the outcomes of attendance intervention plans; educates students and families on the importance of regular school attendance and advocates for their needs within both school and community settings.
