As a key member of the student support team, you'll provide vital social-emotional services to help students with special needs thrive both academically and personally.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a valid School Social Worker license (or eligibility for licensure) to serve in Minnesota schools Experience working as a Social Worker in educational or similar settings, with a focus on supporting students with special needs preferred Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals Comprehensive understanding of IEPs, behavior intervention plans, and multi-tiered systems of support Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Compassion and adaptability to address diverse student needs

Deliver group and individual counseling to students under special education plans Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, providing social-emotional expertise to the team Serve as a liaison and resource for families, connecting them with available community services Develop and implement interventions that foster positive student behavior and promote emotional well-being Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and contribute to ongoing support plans Assist in crisis response and provide intervention for at-risk students Make a tangible difference in students lives throughout the school year in a supportive and collaborative school environment.
