You'll collaborate with educators, families, and students to ensure a supportive and inclusive educational experience for 5-6 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Valid licensure as a School Social Worker Previous experience delivering IEP-related services within a school setting Strong understanding of federal and state special education guidelines Ability to effectively communicate with students, teachers, and families Comfortable working with students in grades 3 through 10 Adaptable to both in-person and virtual environments Exceptional organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and provide direct services as outlined in each student's IEP Consult with teachers and staff to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies when needed Attend and participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations Maintain timely and accurate documentation for services provided Foster strong, supportive relationships with families and caregivers Promote a positive, inclusive school culture for students of varying backgrounds
