A Family, School, or General Case Manager coordinates the delivery of a range of social and health services to individuals and families. Assess client needs and work with agencies and institutions ensure clients get the help they need. Monitor client and work with other service providers as necessary to address client needs. Provide limited counseling to client and their family.
ORGANIZATION, COOKING, CLEANING & AFTER-SCHOOL HELP We are a busy family in 63368 seeking a dependable, hands-on family assistant for approximately 20-25 hours per week, primarily Monday through Thursday. We have two older children and one cat. We need someone who can help our entire family become more organized and keep our home and schedules running smoothly. This person should be proactive, comfortable taking ownership, and able to identify what needs attention without waiting for detailed instructions.
The main responsibilities are:
FAMILY SCHEDULES AND COMMUNICATION
Monitor school emails, announcements, calendars, forms, and deadlines Stay current on extracurricular schedules, practices, games, performances, and special events Maintain one organized family calendar that includes school, activities, appointments, and family commitments Alert us to conflicts, deadlines, items requiring a parent's decision, and anything the children need to bring or prepare Help ensure forms are completed and the children are prepared for upcoming activities
HOME ORGANIZATION AND FAMILY ROUTINES
Create practical systems for school papers, backpacks, sports equipment, laundry, mail, and commonly used household items Establish and maintain routines for school preparation, chores, meals, and household organization Help the children learn to manage their belongings, schedules, and responsibilities more independently Make sure the children complete their assigned household and cat-care chores Declutter and organize household spaces as needed
COOKING AND HOUSEHOLD CARE
Plan and prepare healthy, family-friendly meals Grocery shop and keep the refrigerator and pantry stocked Prepare lunches, snacks, and make-ahead meals Manage household laundry and bedding Complete regular household cleaning and daily tidying Keep common areas, the kitchen, closets, and pantry functional and organized
AFTER-SCHOOL SUPPORT
Pick up children from school and provide transportation to activities Help them prepare for school, sports, and extracurricular activities Provide reminders, structure, and accountability while encouraging age-appropriate independence Occasional household errands, seasonal projects, travel preparation, evening help, or overnight childcare may also be requested. Overnight availability is helpful but not required. Applicants must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, safe driving record, current auto insurance, and excellent references. They must be comfortable around cats and willing to complete background and driving-record checks. CPR/first-aid certification is preferred.
Schedule:
Approximately 20-25 hours per week, primarily Monday-Thursday, including afternoon availability for school transportation.
Compensation:
$20-$28 per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities, plus mileage reimbursement when using a personal vehicle for family transportation.
