A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Your Role:
Coordinate and provide care to clients that are safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client centered. Provide case management, pregnancy counseling, parenting and adoption education, community education and outreach for families. Create a service plan in conjunction with the client to develop goals and objectives that are consistent with what the client wishes to accomplish. Counsel, advocate, and teach clients the skills identified in their service plan face to face in home or virtually. Looking For:
Required - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Behavior Science. Preferred two years experience in child welfare, working with children and families. Candidates must be a licensed driver with access to a dependable personal transportation and auto insurance Passion for making a difference and supporting families through life s challenges.
