The SEL Specialist develops and maintains an educational program that teaches students social-emotional competencies and provides training in data collection, positive behavior supports, intervention techniques, and instructional methodologies for educational staff. The SEL Specialist will perform duties and responsibilities associated with the teaching profession, as outlined in District 69 policies and as required by the Illinois School Code.
Organizational Relationship:
The SEL Specialist reports directly to the Building Administration.

$349 per day. Substitute staff doing daily or long-term assignments do not have a contract of employment for any guaranteed period of time. A long-term substitute staff member may be given an estimated timeline of the assignment; however, the beginning and end dates are subject to change due to District needs and satisfactory performance of the long-term substitute staff member. Daily and long-term substitute staff are considered "at-will" employees and are not eligible to receive benefits.
