In this vital role, you will provide support, advocacy, and intervention for diverse populations, including children, families, and high-risk groups. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs, including family dynamics, to develop tailored support plans. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management during emergencies or high-stress situations to ensure safety and stability. Assist clients with navigating social services systems, including county, state, and federal disability support programs. Support families by offering guidance on conflict management strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, case notes, and service plans using Microsoft Office tools. Collaborate effectively with culturally diverse communities to deliver respectful and inclusive care. Offer first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure immediate safety during urgent situations. Requirements Proven experience working with the elderly and vulnerable populations in social work or related fields. Knowledge of adult protective services, elder laws, and working with individuals with disabilities. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members. Ability to manage conflict resolution calmly and professionally in challenging situations. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse communities more effectively, Spanish preferably. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols. Valid certification in CPR and first aid; willingness to obtain or maintain relevant certifications as required by law or agency standards. Experience working with culturally diverse communities is preferred to foster inclusive support environments. Join us in making a difference!
