Job Description

Provide active and attentive supervision of students throughout the after-school program. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the program. Assist students with homework, reading, studying, and other age-appropriate academic activities. Provide individual assistance and encouragement to students who need additional support. Organize and supervise games, recreational activities, crafts, and other enrichment opportunities. Encourage positive social interactions and help students develop appropriate conflict-resolution skills. Reinforce school expectations for respectful, responsible, and appropriate behavior. Assist students with transitions between activities, snack time, recreation, homework, and dismissal. Maintain an orderly, clean, and welcoming after-school environment. Communicate student concerns or behavioral issues to the After-School Program Coordinator or appropriate school administrator. Follow all school policies and procedures regarding student supervision, safety, discipline, and dismissal. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries when interacting with students. Assist with the safe and orderly dismissal of students to authorized parents, guardians, or other approved individuals. Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other after-school staff. Perform other duties related to the successful operation of the After-School Program as assigned.
